Nvriow Cordless Vacuum Cleaner Review

I ran the Nvriow cordless vacuum cleaner over hardwood, under couches and through spilled cat litter. Here's what held up and what didn't.

The Nvriow Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is worth buying if you have pets and hard floors. It pulled spilled cat litter straight off my hardwood without the roller brush flinging it back, it runs up to 80 minutes in Eco mode, and the 1.5L dust cup means you’re not emptying it constantly. Buy it.

The Light Under the Couch Changed My Mind

I’ll never have another vacuum that doesn’t have a light on it again. That’s not a line I expected to write about a cordless vacuum cleaner, but the first time I ran the head under my couch and saw the LED throw light into the shadow, there was dust sitting there I had no idea about. You don’t realize how much you’ve been cleaning blind until a light shows you exactly what’s been sitting under there.

The company sent this one to me to film a demonstration, which I did on my own hardwood floor with my own three cats’ mess. The LCD screen on the handle shows which of the three power levels you’re in plus a battery indicator, so you’re not guessing how much juice is left mid-room.

Cat Litter: Where Most Vacuum Cleaners for Home Fail

It sucked up cat litter without spitting a single piece back. That’s the test I care about most, because a lot of other vacuums I’ve reviewed just can’t do it. Litter is heavy. The rolling brush grabs it and flings it across the floor instead of pulling it in.

This one, look, it’s just gone. One pass. On High it’s rated 45Kpa, and I had no reason to doubt it, one pass over the litter box area and the floor was clean. We have three cats, so that spot gets wrecked daily. The Nvriow cleared it faster than the Shark I usually reach for.

Pet hair under furniture was the other thing. The neck flexes so you can go really low and get under the couch and the TV stand, which is exactly where cat and dog hair piles up. It adjusts up and down for your height too, so it’s not fighting you.

The Battery Math Is the Catch

80 minutes of runtime is an Eco-mode number, not a High-mode number. On the top setting you’re looking at 25 minutes. And High is exactly where you want to be for cat litter and ground-in pet hair, so the working figure for a dirty house is closer to that 25 than the 80 on the box.

That’s not a dealbreaker for me. I bounce between levels depending on the surface, which is why having three options matters more than any single number. But if you were buying this expecting an hour and a half of max-power cleaning, you’re not getting that from any cordless stick in this class.

Attachments, and What This Won’t Do

Pulling the middle wand out turns it into a handheld in about two seconds. I used the furniture attachment to get the little bits of hair off upholstery, and there’s a second attachment for stairs where you push a button down and get a flat end on it. That flat end is also the one you’d want reaching into a car footwell.

Where it gets less convenient: it’s a cordless stick, so it lives wherever you charge it. There’s no self-emptying base and no dock in the box. Emptying the 1.5L cup is manual, which I don’t mind because that’s my favorite part, seeing exactly how much came up off the floor. But it’s a step, and the cup is big enough that when you dump it you want to be standing over a trash can, not carrying it across the house.

One more thing worth knowing before you buy: this brand is nowhere near the top of Amazon’s Home & Kitchen rankings. It sits around #1,198,072, meaning almost nobody has bought one. That doesn’t make it bad, and the thing performed, but you’re not buying into a long track record of reviews the way you would with a Dyson or a Shark. Replacement filters down the road are something to check availability on before you commit.

Who Should Grab This One

Get this if you have pets and hard floors, the litter test alone separates it from most vacuums I’ve tested. The litter test alone separates it from a lot of what I’ve run. If you’ve got carpet throughout a large house and you want one charge to do the whole thing on max power, this isn’t your machine. Same if you want a self-emptying dock.

But if you have pets and hard floors and you’re spending under what a Dyson costs, this beats everything else I’ve run in that gap. Put it on the list and buy it.

Pros

  • Pulled up cat litter in one pass without the brush flinging it back
  • LED headlight shows dust under couches you’d otherwise miss entirely
  • Neck flexes low enough to reach under furniture where pet hair collects
  • 1.5L dust cup means you’re not stopping every five minutes to empty it
  • Three power modes plus an LCD battery readout on the handle

Cons

  • The 80-minute runtime is Eco only; High mode drops to 25 minutes
  • Manual dust cup emptying, no self-emptying dock included
  • Very low Amazon sales rank, so there’s little long-term owner feedback to lean on

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use it as a vacuum cleaner for car interiors?

Yes. Pull the middle wand out and it becomes a handheld, and the 2-in-1 flat brush attachment is the one that gets into footwells and between seats. Just keep in mind you’re carrying it out to the driveway on battery, so start with a full charge.

Does it need an app or any subscription?

No app, no account, no subscription. Everything you need is on the LCD screen on the handle: power level and battery remaining. It’s a dumb appliance in the best way.

How do I keep the suction from dropping off?

Regular filter care, which the maker specifically calls out. A clogged filter is the number one reason cordless sticks lose suction after a few months, so get in the habit of knocking the filter out every time you empty the cup.

What support do you get if something goes wrong?

Nvriow lists 24/7 support for their vacuum cleaners. Given how few of these are in the wild, I’d save your order confirmation and handle any issue through Amazon’s return window first rather than relying solely on the brand.

The cat litter pass is what set the score; most sticks in this class fling it instead of swallowing it. Loses ground on the 25-minute High-mode runtime and a brand with almost no sales history behind it. A dock and a bigger battery would make this a five.
